Research and Engagement
Musics, Cultures, and Motherhood
Singing promotes physical, emotional, and social wellbeing

Sing to Connect is a community engagement and research initiative for multicultural populations here in Australia.
The founder Dr Charulatha Mani is an Indian-Australian singer/researcher and a passionate advocate of the role of music in promoting wellbeing and cultural vitality among migrant and refugee populations.
In the 2020-21 edition of Sing to Connect, music and midwifery joined forces to deliver workshops that are culturally responsive, fun, informative, and relaxing.
